Sutter Basin: Then and Now

As our first blog entry, we thought it would be nice to feature a project in a “Before And After” capacity. This video features Sutter Basin Conservation Bank. Like each of our projects, Sutter Basin is near and dear not only to the project manager and implementation team, but also to our management staff, our board of directors, and the associates based 2,000 miles away at our parent organization’s headquarters. Why? Quite simply, it’s progress. It’s a little slice of wetland where a diverse range of waterfowl, giant garter snakes, and a host of other plants and species now have a home.

Our blog is intended to share information regarding our projects, the industry, and good old-fashioned ecological wellness on a weekly basis. There is much to share and discern as our planet evolves, and we believe habitat restoration contributes to our global sustainability and health. Thanks for reading, and please let us know what you’re thinking via our comments section. If you have a question, ask it there and we’ll do our best to provide a prompt reply. Also, we’re active on Facebook as well. “Like” us and you’ll see our updates and notes through your newsfeed.
