Construction at Meridian Ranch Mitigation Bank

Construction is underway at Westervelts 377-acre Meridian Ranch Conservation Bank and will focus on rehabilitating and restoring the degraded vernal pool and swale features throughout the property. Prior to Westervelts acquisition of the property in 2008 it had been historically farmed in dryland grains and also used as a dairy for several decades and as a result of those farming practices many of the vernal pools and seasonal wetalnds on the property had either been largely eliminated or severely degraded.

Below are photos of the construction progress.
