Van Vleck Ranch Mitigation Bank

The 775-acre Van Vleck Mitigation Bank is located in eastern Sacramento County, near Rancho Murieta. Comprised primarily of rolling grassland habitat, the landscape supports several vernal pool complexes, drainage channels, seeps, and artificial ponds. This bank has received authorization to sell vernal pool creation, vernal pool preservation, and Swainson's hawk foraging credits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, U.S. EPA, and Cal. Department of Fish & Game.
