The Mariner Vernal Pool Conservation Bank is a 160-site located outside of Lincoln, California in Placer County. The Bank is approved to sell vernal pool preservation credits to off-set impacts to vernal pool habitat, required under the Endangered Species Act and as authorized by U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. In addition the site supports foraging habitat for Swainson's Hawk.
The site is located adjacent to the recently conserved 531-acre Rockwell property. In total, these properties will help complete a 691-acre vernal pool complex on the western edge of the city of Lincoln.
